What to bring with you
(and what to leave home!)
Pack a bag with:
- Bathrobe, night clothes, non-skid slippers, and any necessary personal items.
- Special pillow if desired (non-white pillowcase is best).
- Address book and stationery items.
- Makeup, comb, brush, toothpaste, and toothbrush.
- Tape player (battery operated) and tapes if desired.
- Going home clothes for mother and baby.
- Small amount of cash (under $20).
- Camera, if desired.
- An infant car seat. Buy or borrow one before your due date. State law requires you use one on the trip home from the hospital.
What to leave home
- Please leave jewelry and valuables at home.
