Hand Hygiene and Contact Precautions

MDlink
MDlink is a secure web portal that allows physicians and their pratices to easily obtain clinical and administrative patient results from a variety of sources throughout the Yale New Haven Health System. The service is highly secure and HIPAA compliant, and now boasts over 1,000 active physician users. It uses encrypted patient information and can be accessed using a biometric fingerprint reader. MDlink can be used to connect to remote clinical systems applications from each facility in the Yale New Haven Health System. MDlink can also be used as a communication tool between practices and a means of sending and receiving clinical referrals.
