MedlinePlus will direct you to information to help answer health questions by bringing together, by health topic, authoritative information from the National Library of Medicine, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other government, nonprofit and health-related organizations. Preformulated Medline searches are included in MedlinePlus and give easy access to the medical research literature.

Medical Matrix
Ranked, peer-reviewed, annotated updated clinical medicine resources. Also provides access to Medline and journals.

NOAH (New York Online Access to Health)
This site is the collaborative result of library organizations in New York City that joined forces to establish a single web site to provide consumers with reliable health information. Consumer Drug Information Sheets
The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration posts Consumer Drug Information Sheets that give general information about newly approved prescription drugs. Only information about drugs approved since January 1998 appears at this location. Since these drugs are newly approved, they may not yet be on the market.

Hygeia
Hygeia is among the most enduring programs of compassion, empathy and support for families who lose a child during a pregnancy or soon after birth. Hygeia offers online support such as resources, message boards, poetry written by Hygeia founder Dr. Michael Berman, a parent blog, information on phone, email and local peer-to-peer support groups and more. Hygeia also has a bereavement resource library that contains books and other literature on bereavement and the latest medical research on perinatal loss. In addition, Hygeia hosts support groups in New Haven, Guilford and Westport. All support groups are run by parents who have suffered the loss of a baby.
