Transplantation services
Yale-New Haven Hospital participates with the New England Organ Bank and United Network for Organ Sharing. It is a center of excellence for many types of transplants including heart, liver, pancreas, kidney and bone marrow.

Yale-New Haven Hospital accepts referrals from all over the world. Your doctor will need to refer you to a Yale-New Haven Hospital doctor in order for you to receive treatment at the hospital. Admitting staff patient account representatives are assigned to work with the medical team to coordinate financial details for the transplant and aftercare. Transplant patient account representatives can be reached at (203) 688-2221.

Patient account representatives
from Admitting have been trained to recognize the special needs of international patients. They help make financial arrangements, coordinate appointments, reserve accommodations, arrange transportation, provide directions and, if necessary, locate an interpreter.
