Visitor information

Please obtain a pass from the first floor Information Desk.

General visiting hours 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

These hours apply to all units except pediatrics, intensive care and psychiatry.

YNHH Intensive Care visiting hours

Two to four members of a patient's immediate family may visit anytime 24 hours a day.

Adult Emergency Department Visiting Policy

Visiting is limited to one visitor per patient during the first 15 minutes of each hour. During the remaining 45 minutes, visitors must wait in the waiting area. Visitors passes must be displayed. Exceptions or suspension of visitation are at the discretion of medical and nursing staff.

YNHH offers a number of services for patients and their families and friends. These services include cafeterias, a gift shop, a multi-denominational chapel, automated teller machines (ATMs) and an information desk. Most of these services can be found just off the hospital atrium.

Patients who have questions, concerns, unmet needs, or who require additional assistance beyond what is available on the unit, should contact YNHH Patient Relations, (203) 688-3430.

At this time, patients do not have access to E-mail.
