How to fight germs
To stay healthy, your body must fight germs. Germs are too small to
see. They can make you sick.
You can help protect your body from germs by washing your hands, especially
before you eat. Soap and water wash away germs before they get into your
mouth.
You can also fight germs by making healthy choices. Eating fruits, vegetables,
milk and other good foods gives your body fuel to grow and work well.
Running, jumping and other safe play keep your body and heart strong.
Sleep gives your body rest and time to build new strength.
Keep germs from spreading by covering your nose and mouth when you sneeze
or cough. Then throw your tissue away and wash your hands right away so
germs go down the drain.
Activity
Make a list of things you can do to keep you healthy.
