NEW HAVEN — For the third consecutive year, Yale-New Haven Hospital has been named by U.S. News Media Group to its national Honor Roll as one of the top hospitals in the United States. YNHH is ranked seventeenth in the U.S. according to U.S. News's annual "America's Best Hospitals" rankings, which are accessible today online and will be published in the August issue of U.S.News & World Report. YNHH is the only hospital in Connecticut to earn Honor Roll status.

In addition to the Honor Roll distinction as one of the best U.S. hospitals, Yale-New Haven was ranked among the very best in the nation in 12 of the 16 medical specialties considered: cancer; ear, nose and throat; diabetes and endocrine disorders; digestive disorders; geriatric care; gynecology; heart and heart surgery; kidney disorders; neurology and neurosurgery; psychiatry; respiratory disorders; and urology.
Yale-New Haven Hospital is the primary teaching hospital of Yale School of Medicine, accepting patients from throughout Connecticut, the nation and the world.
