In addition to our highly regarded physicians, the transplant team also consists of:

• Transplant coordinators, who provide instruction and education, monitor a patient’s condition, and serve as a link that connects all health-care professionals involved in the patient’s care
  
• Social workers, who can help connect a patient and his/her family with resources in the community that can provide a broad range of services, including support groups and in-home care if needed
  
• Financial counselors, who help a patient and his/her family manage insurance claims and financial matters

All of these individuals work together to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for transplant patients and their families.
